The Pirl Premium Masternode can be updated with YUM. For this to work the Pirl repository must be added. If everything has been set up correctly, updates can be carried out very easily.
In this article we will do the update from 1.8.27-damocles to 1.9.12-lion. This kind of update is possible starting with 1.9.12-lion. There will be another article for future updates based on yum.
- Pirl Premium Masternode Version 1.8.27-damocles running on CentOS 7
- Be sure that you followed this article to add the repository. Only the Installation section is required.
To install the latest Pirl Premium Masternode software you have to login into your server as root and execute the following command.
yum -y install pirl-masternode-premium
After the software has been updated pirl-setup needs to be executed. Please verify that the tokens shown do reflect your actual masternode tokens. If the token found is correct provide n. Otherwise enter y and provide your correct tokens.
